Boosting Morale: MPB Commander Inspects 191 Emergency Response Training, Provides Memorabilia and Luncheon for 34 Officers

On June 24, 2026, at 2:30 PM, Pol. Lt. Gen. Siam Boonsom, Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police Bureau (Commissioner, MPB), visited the "Radio Skills and 191 Emergency Response Efficiency Enhancement Training Project" to observe the training progress and deliver encouraging remarks to the personnel.
The Commissioner was warmly welcomed by Pol. Col. Sompong Ekkawat, Superintendent of the Communications Center (Patrol and Special Operations Division), alongside Deputy Superintendents Pol. Lt. Col. Chuchart Meesang, Pol. Lt. Col. Phornsarin Sanphatanon, and Pol. Lt. Col. Phakin Siripunyaporn. This session's group of 34 police officers participating in the training program also lined up to welcome the Commissioner.

During the visit, Pol. Lt. Gen. Siam Boonsom presented special memorabilia, including polo shirts and commemorative medals, to all 34 training officers as a token of appreciation for their commitment to enhancing their professional skills.

Following the presentation, the Commissioner and his executive team proceeded to inspect the day-to-day operations inside the 191 Emergency Response Center. To further show his support for the staff's welfare, Pol. Lt. Gen. Siam kindly sponsored a complimentary luncheon for both the trainees and the active-duty police officers within the division.
